I enjoy working at ECG because it affords me the opportunity to have a positive impact on the healthcare industry, which affects everyone. I especially enjoy that my work can lead to an increased shift in surgery site of service, which can reduce the overall cost of outpatient surgery.

Bill is a seasoned analyst whose clients appreciate his ability to translate complex data into digestible, meaningful terms. His knowledge of Medicare outpatient reimbursement methodology as well as numerous other government and commercial health insurance carrier outpatient reimbursement methodologies is especially valuable at a time when surgical procedures and other care are increasingly shifting to ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) and other outpatient settings.

Prior to joining ECG, Bill was a Senior Analyst at Eveia Health, a firm specializing ASC operations, business analysis, and managed care contracting. In this capacity, he conducted data evaluation projects for ASCs, physician groups, and surgical hospitals, often supporting clients and facilitating the collection of data for use in contract negotiations and chargemaster development. He was also responsible for monitoring changes to Medicare, other government health plans, and commercial health insurance carrier rates and methodologies; determining how those changes affected ASC and hospital outpatient reimbursement; and maintaining an internal library of Medicare rate files.
