His work involves new space programming and design, operations and logistics planning, schedule coordination, equipment placement, and patient move-day planning. He also helps hospitals and health systems with transforming operational processes through conducting quantitative analysis of data, benchmarking, and implementing solutions, especially with respect to OR costs, and by performing throughput simulations.

Prior to his role at ECG, Colin spent five years specifically focused on new hospital development as a member of the internal planning team for the new facility for the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, which encompasses 1.25 million square feet, 24 stories, and 288 beds.
