I am enthusiastic about working at ECG in the increasingly complex healthcare industry because of the opportunity to collaborate with other individuals who are passionate about making a positive and meaningful impact in the lives of everyone who interacts with healthcare systems.
Erika’s experience working with several healthcare organizations is helpful for clients as they consider innovative models of delivering and financing care. In an environment increasingly focused on controlling costs and improving quality, clients find Erika’s diverse background in delivery, insurance, and public health beneficial. In her experience at major medical centers and a regional payor, Erika has regularly collaborated with senior physicians, used data to inform strategic decisions, and influenced the design of managed care health plans.
Prior to joining ECG, Erika attended Boston University’s Questrom School of Business and School of Public Health. While there, she worked as a product development analyst at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, where she created a novel framework for health plan performance analysis that was used to calculate the product’s annual ROI. She also served as an ambulatory operations intern at Tufts Medical Center, where she performed audits to assist ambulatory clinics in collecting copayments accurately and efficiently.
