ECG gives me an opportunity that few places can offer. To work alongside passionate, driven individuals who care so deeply about their work, in an industry that has a positive benefit on society, is deeply rewarding.
Having worked in industries as varied as integrated health, industrial manufacturing, and automotive, John brings a broad and diverse background to ECG’s strategy engagements. He has a passion for forging relationships with senior leadership and going above and beyond to solve problems for his clients. John approaches each problem with a fresh and positive outlook, keeping in mind the high-level implications but also diving into the minutia of data to help inform his recommendations and drive decisions.
Before joining ECG, John attended the Carlson School of Management while pursuing his master of business administration degree. During that time, John worked for multiple companies as a part of the Carlson Consulting Enterprise (CCE), as well as for Gallup Consulting an intern. At Gallup, John evaluated the bottom-line turnover cost of a QSR market leader, leading to a $21 million profit opportunity, and analyzed the impact of management churn, leading to a $16 million revenue opportunity. While working for CCE, John helped an industrial manufacturing client develop a revenue projection model to forecast sales increases across four divisions, resulting in a predictive model that improved accuracy by more than 30%.
