I’ve always felt passionate about improving the public health. ECG allows me to work with clients who are using alternative payment models to better deliver care, ultimately improving the lives of many.
Rachel’s background in hospital reimbursement and her experience working on CMS Innovation Center demonstration projects are valuable to ECG’s clients as they seek to understand both the technical requirements and big picture implications of payment policy. With her strong data analysis skills, Rachel is able to help clients understand their financial position, while her knowledge of alternative payment programs enables her to contextualize findings and demonstrate how care model transformation can lead to real savings. As a member of ECG’s Bundled Payments practice, Rachel is dedicated to preparing clients for success in an increasingly value-based reimbursement environment.
Prior to joining ECG, Rachel worked in the Business Planning and Reimbursement practice at KPMG, analyzing data from large commercial claim databases and working with clients to develop bundled payments for spinal procedures. She also worked as a public health analyst for a CMS contractor, contributing to major evaluations of Affordable Care Act demonstrations of patient-centered medical homes and Medicaid redesign and incentive programs.
