Working for ECG allows me to have an impact on healthcare delivery across the entire continuum and at scale. Knowing that my work has the potential to influence the care individuals receive at what may be their most vulnerable moments drives me to deliver the best for my clients.
Udani has experience in both external and internal consulting, and she comes to ECG with a unique perspective on working with physicians and employers. She prides herself on listening to her clients and working alongside them to develop solutions that truly meet their needs. At a time when healthcare organizations are becoming more intertwined, Udani’s experience in employer health benefits and the provider space provides her with an in-depth understanding of the industry’s changing dynamics.
Before joining ECG, Udani worked in health benefit consulting with Mercer in San Francisco, where she provided her clients with strategic guidance on complying with employer shared responsibility requirements under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and conducted financial analyses on the affordability and actuarial value of their health benefit plans. In this capacity, she identified that 10% of a large, U.S. federal government contractor’s employee population was exposed to penalties under the ACA, and she developed risk mitigation strategies and saved the organization 8% in annual ACA payments.
