In one such instance, on behalf of a regional health plan, Andrew led the development and execution of a win-win pricing strategy that led to a 24% reimbursement reduction for the client while doubling the provider network’s patient volume. In addition, for an independent physician association, Andrew developed an enterprise strategy to align incentives between the physicians and management group by creating a $36.5 million incentive pool with upside to both parties. Before joining ECG, Andrew worked at Sharp Health Plan, where he oversaw the management of the underwriting and strategic growth teams. Among his accomplishments were the implementation of a rating model that led to a 3% rate reduction and the design of an onboarding process that decreased new-group installation time by 29%.
