Andrew is a seasoned consultant with more than 10 years of physician enterprise experience. He specializes in physician and faculty group practice enterprise strategy, provider compensation, operations, and strategic cost and financial planning. Andrew has served a variety of healthcare providers, including academic faculty practices, multihospital physician groups, large health systems, and independent community hospitals. In addition to his adept leadership skills, Andrew calls upon his advanced analytics knowledge to help his clients enhance and more effectively manage key areas such as physician productivity and compensation, labor, referral management, and nonprovider staffing methodologies.
Before joining ECG, Andrew was a senior managing consultant with Berkeley Research Group (BRG). In this capacity, he led provider enterprise strategy and operations engagements. His projects have included developing provider compensation plans to respond to changing legislation and reimbursement methodologies and implementing service access improvement, cost management, and operational strategies. Recently, Andrew implemented strategic cost management solutions at a large, multihospital health system in the Midwest, which generated $12 million in year-over year net financial benefit. Prior to BRG, Andrew was a senior associate at Kaufman Hall within the Strategy and Physician Enterprise practice, where he focused on physician acquisitions, M&A due diligence, physician and provider compensation design, and strategic cost management engagements.
