David is a healthcare administration professional with a proven track record of increasing revenue. Having held a number of leadership positions in various health systems, David has worked closely with personnel at all levels of an organization, including physicians, executives, and frontline staff, and has developed a comprehensive understanding of how operations, finance, and strategy intersect. He has a passion for helping others understand the story being told from the data in order to drive strategic decision-making and generate successful outcomes.
Before joining ECG, David worked at Nebraska Medicine as both the director of ambulatory operations and a department administrator. During his time there, he implemented numerous growth- and access-related initiatives; onboarded eight providers in high-needs areas, generating over $180,000 in annual savings; and partnered with senior leadership to double clinical revenues from FY 2020 to FY 2022. Prior to that, David was a department administrator at USF Health, where he helped increase patient visits by over 51% through enhanced process workflows, reallocation of resources, and strategic physician hires. He also was instrumental in initiating partnership discussions with area hospitals to secure essential ophthalmology services and bring in an additional $290,000 in annual contract revenue.
