Over her 20-plus-year career in medical education, Jessica has served in leadership roles at various academic healthcare organizations, national medical professional associations, and both for-profit and nonprofit hospital systems. She is a nationally recognized expert and frequent speaker on improving organizational leadership and learning, cultivating positive working and learning environments, and improving workplace well-being. She has a passion for understanding the nuances of her clients and their strategic priorities to offer creative, insightful solutions to help them reach their goals and solve their unique academic and business challenges.
Jessica has dedicated her professional career to leading medical education innovation and developing scaled support models at regional and national levels. Before joining ECG, Jessica was the vice president of education and research at HCA Healthcare Graduate Medical Education (GME), where she was responsible for the creation and ongoing management of the organization’s national initiatives related to physician education and research. As a founding member of the HCA Healthcare GME executive team, she designed the organization’s academic shared-services model, which included scaled curriculum, faculty development, knowledge management, research and scholarly activity services, and medical student management for over 340 accredited programs, 5,200 residents and fellows, and 7,500 faculty in 72 hospitals across 16 states. Jessica also served as the vice president of medical education and research for Saint Thomas Health, a ministry of Ascension Health, and the assistant dean of GME for the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
