Samantha is dedicated to delivering solutions tailored to address her clients’ core needs. Her deep curiosity for defining problems fuels her approach of listening to understand all factors that impact an organization and the desired future state so she can provide a comprehensive recommendation. Samantha’s experience across hospital and medical group operations, as well as health plan strategy, qualifies her to help clients face the increased consumerism in the healthcare industry and identify new ways to deliver care to match consumer preference. Samantha enjoys connecting the dots to ensure success for the end user, whether they are a patient, provider, or staff member.
Before joining ECG, Samantha was an internal design and innovation consultant with Kaiser Permanente (KP). There, she developed a portfolio devoted to improving the quality of care in the hospital setting. She served as a primary consultant for the TeleCritical Care program, where she designed workflows for clinicians, created trainings for frontline staff and providers, developed a growth strategy, and led the implementation of the program in ICUs across Northern California. As an administrative fellow with KP, she also managed the internalization of a pediatric ICU transport team, led a multidisciplinary team in improving hospital discharge times, and actively addressed the COVID‑19 pandemic by taking on roles in the hospital incident command center and the surge planning team.
