Employed Physician Groups Under
Provider-Based Clinic Arrangements
Tuesday, March 25, 2008
10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. ET
As hospitals continue to employ more and more physicians,
management teams are confronted with mounting financial losses
from physician practices. Converting employed physician practices
to provider-based clinics is a sound financial strategy that
performance-oriented hospitals and systems are pursuing to
enhance the financial results of their employed physicians.
This session will teach participants how to evaluate the opportunity
to convert practices to provider-based status from a financial,
operational, and regulatory perspective.
