How to Hard-Wire Physician Leadership
Into Your Clinical Service Lines
Friday, May 16, 2008
10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. ET
Service line management approaches are being designed and
implemented by hospitals and health systems to enhance the
performance and positioning of key clinical services. The
challenge that many organizations are facing, however, is
how to build physician support for their service line management
structures and develop alignment with their clinical services
growth strategies.
This session in the ECG Trends Webinar Series will provide
specific recommendations for engaging physicians in service
line growth and development. Ways to build physician leadership
into your service line management structure will be described,
and best practice examples will be provided to help you:
Develop a service line management approach that matches
the needs and capabilities of your organization and its
physicians.
Effectively engage physicians in key service line development
efforts.
Design meaningful service line leadership roles and responsibilities
for physicians.
Build high-performing administrative and physician teams
within your clinical services.
