The Pediatric Subspecialty Market: Compensation,
Benefits, Recruiting, and Employment Trends
Thursday, December 10, 2009
ECG is proud to announce the release of our third annual
National Pediatric Subspecialty Physician Compensation,
Production, and Benefits Survey. The survey has been
designed to balance the complexities of the tripartite mission
of academic medical centers with nonacademic settings that
employ pediatric subspecialists.
In 2009, 28 children’s organizations participated,
representing 1,929 physicians in 41 pediatric subspecialties.
The survey report provides in-depth analysis of market trends
within the pediatric subspecialties.
In this Webinar, we will present overall results of ECG’s
2009 survey, including:
The impact of the economic environment on pediatric provider
organizations, including its effect on financial, operational,
and physician performance.
The impact of healthcare reform on provider compensation
and plan methodologies.
Pediatric subspecialty compensation trends relative to
production.
Key trends in physician recruiting, including trends
in recruiting and retention programs, and how the physician
shortage, coupled with the current economic environment,
has impacted recruiting packages.
Other provider trends, including how CPT code-level data
is turned into a greater value proposition for provider
organizations.
