Leveraging Allied Health Professionals in Patient-Centered Care Models

Today’s health systems are faced with the challenge of providing high-quality, low-cost healthcare to more patients with fewer resources. This presentation examines how The Carle Foundation restructured the role of Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) to improve patient access, drive patient care coordination, and support the development of patient-centered care models. It also details the processes, guidelines, and structures developed by The Carle Foundation to align provider incentives with organizational goals for cost control, efficiency, and quality.
