How the Health Systems of the Future Will Meet Competitive Drivers

ECG’s principal, Scott Cullen, will be speaking about how the health systems of 10 to 15 years from now will look as different from today’s as do those of 50 years ago.

Risk for the cost of care will be borne by the providers of care, and experience shows us that form follows finance. In addition to disruptors entering health care in unanticipated ways, systems competing for their existence will need to answer two key market drivers: Patient Centricity, and Value Transparency.

Everything from workforce, facilities, technology, and care model, to financial systems and organizational design will need to transform in order to meet these demands. We will discuss the implications for each of these areas and present a model for an example system built to thrive in such an environment.

ECG is proud to be a sponsor of the Becker’s Hospital Review 9th Annual Meeting.
