Chris is often called upon to lead complex, multiparty initiatives to design and implement new corporate, governance, leadership/management, and financial/funds flow structures for AMCs as well as more integrated relationships with nonacademic community providers. He has introduced many innovative business designs and techniques to academic health systems that streamline decision making, improve financial performance, and more effectively sustain the three-part mission of AMCs. Chris advises many of the highest-ranked AMCs and children’s hospitals in the United States. He is also a frequent author and presenter on topics affecting academic healthcare, including a recent study of more than 100 AMCs that examined the correlation between organizational design and outcomes (“Are integrated Academic Health Systems Better?”).
