Jeff is a seasoned healthcare professional with a proven track record of successful contract negotiation and value creation nationally. His financial expertise, analytical acumen, and creative mind make him a distinctly skilled negotiator. Jeff’s experience lends him a unique perspective, as he sees the contract negotiation process from both the payor and provider viewpoints. This is especially helpful in the current environment, where reimbursements are being squeezed and more emphasis is being placed on quality, value creation, and cost savings. His major focus over the past several years is in the ambulatory surgery center (ASC) segment, and he enjoys the opportunity to confront the problems that his clients are facing.
Prior to joining ECG, Jeff served as Director of Managed Care Reimbursement and Strategy at Surgical Care Affiliates (SCA), a national ASC management company based in Birmingham, Alabama. In this role, he supported more than 35 ASCs, both independent and hospital joint ventured, in various capacities, including contract negotiation, market and payor strategy, revenue cycle management, contract due diligence, and integration.
