I joined ECG because I believe our healthcare delivery system is the most important area of focus for our nation today. Approximately 17% of U.S. GDP is spent on healthcare every year, far more than any other country in the world. What I enjoy most about the opportunity to work in this industry is collaborating with some of the smartest leaders across our nation to improve a system that will ultimately increase the quality of life for every single American.

Rich is dedicated to improving the healthcare landscape in a time of rising costs and added demands from payers, patients, and policy makers. Clients value his proven record of fostering collaboration and creating an environment of continuous improvement. Having worked with more than 40 hospitals and health systems, Rich has learned to blend his strong quantitative skills with an energetic and positive approach that enables him to seamlessly collaborate with healthcare leadership, craft pragmatic solutions, and drive results.

Rich has partnered with large multispecialty medical groups to drive performance improvement efforts that enhance the financial and operational performance of health systems. These efforts have included integration of governance and business operations to drive efficiencies, as well as operational initiatives that have improved access, revenue cycle, productivity, and clinical program growth. Most recently, Rich served as an interim leader of a large cardiology practice, where he built and executed on a strategic operating plan that led to a 25% increase in net patient revenue per month.
