The Pediatric Subspecialty Market: Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, and Employment Trends

Friday, December 12, 2008

ECG is proud to announce the release of our second annual National Pediatric Subspecialty Physician Compensation, Production, and Benefits Survey. The survey has been designed to balance the complexities of the tripartite mission of academic medical centers with nonacademic settings that employ pediatric subspecialists.

In 2008, 24 children’s organizations participated, representing 2,100 physicians in 36 pediatric subspecialties. The survey report provides in-depth analysis of market trends within the pediatric subspecialties.

In this Webinar, we will present overall results of ECG's 2008 survey, including:

  • Trends in pediatric subspecialty compensation relative to production.
  • Trends in benefits and malpractice.
  • Trends in physician recruiting and benefits.
  • Examples of how CPT-level data is turned into a greater value proposition for provider organizations.

The featured presenters for this session are:

  • Ms. Maria C. Hayduk, Senior Manager, ECG

Ms. Hayduk has assisted several hospitals and physician organizations with physician compensation planning, business development, and medical group operations. More recently, she has focused on conducting and expanding ECG’s custom compensation and production surveys in the Northwest and Midwest in addition to developing ECG’s National Pediatric Subspecialty Physician Compensation, Production, and Benefits Survey.

  • Mr. Kenneth A. Roorda, Senior Manager, ECG

Mr. Roorda has assisted numerous academic medical centers, health systems, children’s hospitals, and physician groups on a variety of topics relating to ambulatory care business arrangements, management, and operations.
