  • Assigned to one to three projects at any time.
  • Travel is approximately 50 percent.

Manager

  • Promotion from senior consultant, or master’s trained with 3 to 5 years of healthcare consulting experience.
  • Technical skills are second to none.
  • Career focus is on project management.
    • Proposal development.
    • Work plan execution.
    • Staff supervision.
  • Extensive project-related client interaction.
  • Significant exposure to different client and project types, with beginning development of a specialized area of expertise.
  • Assigned to one to three projects at any time.
  • Travel is approximately 50 to 65 percent.

Senior Manager

  • Promotion from manager, or master’s trained with 7 to 10 years of healthcare consulting experience.
  • Technical and project management skills are second to none.
  • Career focus is on client management.
    • Relationship development.
    • Network expansion.
    • Marketing presence.
    • Client meeting facilitation.
  • Extensive senior client interaction.
  • Exposure to a variety of client and project types within your area of expertise.
  • Assigned to two to four projects at any time.
  • Travel is approximately 60 to 70 percent.

Principal

  • Promotion from senior manager, or master’s trained with more than 10 years of consulting experience and demonstrated practice management ability.
  • Technical, project, and client management skills are second to none.
  • Career focus is on practice management.
    • Project sales.
    • Staff growth and development.
    • Firm administration.
  • Extensive senior client interaction.
  • Exposure to a variety of client and project types within your area of expertise.
  • Assigned three to six projects at any time.
  • Travel is approximately 65 to 75 percent.
