There, she worked on a care standardization project across eight hospital sites to improve coordination and patient outcomes. During her graduate training and applied learning experiences, Amy worked with HealthPartners to evaluate its performance under the CMS Transforming Episode Accountability Model, ultimately delivering targeted recommendations to strengthen its position in the value-based care space. In addition, Amy collaborated with her case competition team to advise a large health system on strategies to reduce low-value care, focused on opportunities created through technological innovation and greater coordination. She also managed community health initiatives and foundation data for the Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota Caring Foundation. These initiatives ultimately led to increased patient access, affordability, and quality.
