Through her time working with AMCs, Chelsea makes meaningful connections between graduate medical education (GME) and the clinical operations necessary for success in today's rapidly changing healthcare environment. Having worked at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health during a time of curriculum redesign and LCME accreditation, she understands the nuances associated with teaching programs and the critical need to abide by regulating bodies. This experience, combined with her ability to glean insights from data-driven analyses, makes Chelsea a valuable asset to any client she works with.
Since joining ECG, Chelsea has used her quantitative skill sets and previous experience to positively contribute to the development and implementation of impactful solutions for many of ECG's academic clients. Some recent examples of her work include assessing the feasibility of and developing associated financial estimates for potential new GME programs for three hospitals within a larger, national health system and facilitating work streams to support the development of a partnership between a health system and a state university aimed at furthering the tripartite mission and providing higher-quality, more accessible care to the region's underserved populations.
