Christopher Nova

Senior Consultant

Chris uses his experience in healthcare strategy and business development to support academic health systems with enterprise transformation, workforce planning, clinical service line development, and organizational alignment. He has contributed to system-wide initiatives aimed at expanding access, strengthening operational structures, and promoting long-term growth through data-driven planning and stakeholder engagement. He is also a key contributor to ECG's international engagements, crafting strategies and deliverables for health systems operating within global contexts.

Since joining ECG, Chris has assisted with enterprise initiatives for academic health systems focused on workforce strategy, clinical service design, and system integration. Recently, he played a key role in a pediatric strategic planning engagement, supporting the assessment of children's services and preparing external-facing materials to inform the partnership evaluation process. He also contributed to a rapid quality and safety assessment for a newly integrated health system by leading clinical workflow observations, synthesizing insights from over 75 stakeholder interviews, and helping to develop a system-wide improvement roadmap. Prior to joining ECG, Chris was a senior strategy and business development associate on the national and international growth teams at Boston Children's Hospital. There, he worked with senior leadership to create strategies for increasing complex patient referrals from pediatric markets outside of New England and led the redesign and implementation of workflows for processing remote second-opinion requests, reducing turnaround times by 50%.
