Greg regularly partners with academic medical center (AMC) leadership on complex, multiparty initiatives to improve performance by more closely aligning strategic priorities with underlying organizational, governance, and financial structures. Since joining ECG in 2008, Greg has led dozens of initiatives related to AMC strategy; health system and university affiliations; and AHS organizational design, partnerships, and funds flow. He is an expert on the academic physician enterprise, having assisted with the design, development, and implementation of multiple faculty group practices (FGPs), physician networks, and academic-community physician organizations.

Clients value Greg's ability to blend strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with deep technical and analytical expertise to identify solutions that align diverse incentives and drive sustainable performance. Representative client engagements include negotiating a revised affiliation agreement between a private, nonprofit health system and a large public university; designing and implementing a new integrated, interprofessional, statewide provider organization for a large public university; and integrating five separate corporate entities to form a pediatric FGP for a leading children's hospital.
