Jacob has extensive experience with EHR implementation, expansion, upgrades, support, and optimization that provides him with a solid grasp of the entire patient cycle, from pre-services to clinical care to patient accounting. During his career, Jacob has worked with multiple large, small, and critical access health systems across the country, including CommonSpirit Health, Universal Health Services, University of Missouri Health Care, Keck Medicine of USC, Children’s Hospital of Orange County, and Ventura County Healthcare Agency. Through this work, Jacob has developed an appreciation for the differences and intricacies in all care environments, and clients value his ability to identify and propose enhancements to workflow efficiencies, device integration, IT processes, and vendor relationship strategies.
At ECG, Jacob has supported IT transformation assessments and EHR implementation projects for various organizations, during which he led service line transformations related to patient access, completed back-office workflow and system redesigns, provided subject matter expertise on Oracle Health (formerly Cerner) systems and workflows, and supported platform implementations via his project management expertise. Prior to joining ECG, Jacob was a senior integrated technologies consultant for Oracle Health. While there, he operated as a workflow lead within enterprise document management, supporting document management for patient accounting, health information management, patient access, work queue management, and automated document interfaces.
