Prior to joining ECG, Julie served as vice president at R1 RCM. While in that role, she led the redesign of a centralized financial clearance program for a top-tier academic medical center, which enhanced patient access performance and increased up-front collections. She spearheaded a denial prevention strategy adopted by more than 20 health systems that established analytics infrastructure and SOPs that significantly improved denial-related KPIs. Julie also launched predictive analytics dashboards using Microsoft Power BI, enabling executive-level decision-making and transparency in financial performance for two nationally recognized academic medical centers and several community hospitals. Earlier in her career, at KPMG, Julie directed high-impact revenue cycle engagements for integrated health systems and a globally recognized pediatric hospital.
