Kate leads physician and advanced practice provider compensation governance services, advising hospitals, health systems, and physician enterprises on building transparent, compliant, and defensible compensation programs. She combines deep expertise in fair market value (FMV), commercial reasonableness (CR), and valuation with a strategic focus on governance structures and organizational accountability. Kate partners with executive and compliance leaders to design and implement compensation frameworks aligned with regulatory expectations and organizational goals.

At ECG, Kate specializes in provider compensation design, valuation, and enterprise-level governance. Her recent work has included leading Prisma Health's system-wide design of its provider compensation governance framework, developing standardized policies, FMV and CR review pathways, and decision rights structures that improved transparency, reduced variation, and strengthened regulatory defensibility across a 2,000 provider enterprise. At Corewell Health, Kate is designing a cohesive, enterprise-wide governance framework that aligns decision rights, standardizes review pathways, and establishes consistent documentation expectations among formerly independent regions. Kate also led the modernization of Premier Health's provider compensation policies and procedures to meet current industry best practices, regulatory expectations, and FMV and CR standards. This work helped Premier Health transition from variable practices to a clear, defensible, and operationally reliable compensation governance framework.
