Katherine's commitment to bridging the gap between theory and practice reflects her deep appreciation for aligning perspectives and values to drive sustainable results. She seeks to understand clients' specific challenges, operating environments, and needs through data-driven problem-solving and comprehensive research. Clients value her thoughtful and intentional approach to building strong relationships, as Katherine's experience working with and leading interdisciplinary teams has made her proficient in fostering a culture of open communication.
Since joining ECG, Katherine has been proactive in developing and implementing solutions for many clients across the tripartite mission. Recent examples of her work include formulating multiyear research strategic plans and redesign clinical research for several medical schools; designing a strategic academic affiliation model at a large, public safety net system; and developing effective academic governance and infrastructure to create greater educational opportunities and a new college of medicine through a partnership model. Before ECG, Katherine attended Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health, where she worked as an evaluation intern at the Georgia Clinical and Translational Science Alliance. In this role, she assisted with the evaluation of institutional diversity at the faculty level, laying the groundwork for identifying programmatic opportunities to increase support for underrepresented clinical and translational faculty groups.
