Leaning into her experiences with rural health systems, Critical Access Hospitals, and community hospitals, Lily brings an analytical approach to help her clients address their patient access challenges and make impactful strategic decisions. She specializes in combining the use of data-driven methods with a nuanced understanding of an organization's specific needs to create tailored, actionable recommendations.
Before joining ECG, Lily served as the project manager for her master's degree capstone project, during which she partnered with a rural, nonprofit integrated healthcare system in the Midwest to support strategic decision-making related to the allocation of obstetrics (OB) services. Her team's findings equipped system executives with meaningful insights to guide OB service decisions across a three-hospital region and enabled future performance comparisons across sites system-wide. During her graduate internship, Lily worked with a community hospital in Wisconsin on a clinic optimization initiative, developing a Microsoft Excel–based tool to assess target exam room utilization and optimize clinic operations. Lily used this tool to analyze 21 primary care providers' productivity across seven office suites and develop a set of recommendations, including piloting a flexible exam room allocation system in two suites.
