Mary's most recent role before joining ECG was vice president of planning and consulting at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. There, she led institutional planning for Dana-Farber's $1.6 billion, 300 bed inpatient cancer hospital and its strategic collaboration with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Her work spans governance design, cross-functional execution, and long-range strategic alignment. Mary began her career in pediatric psychosocial care, serving as a Certified Child Life Specialist and researcher in pediatric oncology. She later held leadership roles in patient experience and internal consulting at Virginia Hospital Center (now VHC Health). At the Washington State Hospital Association, Mary led a $6 million initiative to improve end-of-life care and oversaw the delivery of advanced care planning consulting services to over 50 healthcare organizations.
