Before joining ECG, Orlando served as the chief strategy officer at the University of Miami Health System, driving corporate business development and supporting high-impact initiatives. In this role, he oversaw business planning, the deployment of $1.3 billion in ambulatory capital projects, and the execution of national service line affiliations and international growth strategies. Prior to that, Orlando spent 17 years serving in various executive leadership roles within Catholic healthcare organizations, including Sisters of Charity Health System, where he led efforts to rebalance the system's strategic portfolio through the divestiture and sale of key acute care assets and the establishment of large provider affiliation agreements.
