Rachel Bidgood

Associate Principal

I've always felt passionate about improving the public health. ECG allows me to work with clients who are using alternative payment models to better deliver care, ultimately improving the lives of many.
ECG's clients appreciate Rachel's extensive experience in value-based reimbursement across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid payers as they seek to understand both the technical requirements and big-picture implications of payment policy. With her strong data analysis skills, Rachel helps providers understand their financial position, while her vast knowledge of alternative payment programs enables her to contextualize findings and demonstrate how care model transformation can lead to real savings.

Rachel's work focuses on assisting clients with a wide range of payer contracting and value-based payment initiatives. At ECG, she is consistently called upon to help provider organizations evaluate their performance in value-based payment programs and develop targeted roadmaps for improvement that include identifying impactful contract language modifications, reducing total cost of care, executing physician engagement strategies, and implementing care transformation tactics. Rachel's strength lies in her ability to tailor these strategies to diverse service lines, including behavioral health, women's health, pediatrics, and safety net providers, aligning payment models with clinical priorities and population needs. She also supports clients as they navigate Managed Medicaid programs, leading projects related to contract strategy and program development, and partners with private equity firms on due diligence engagements.
