Sesen's background in health informatics, population health, and healthcare operations gives her the ability to connect data with real-world impact to support care delivery. She brings a deep commitment to improving quality, optimizing performance, and driving health equity. Sesen is especially passionate about uncovering overlooked gaps and applying data-driven strategies to optimize workflows, support providers, and improve patient outcomes.
Before joining ECG, Sesen interned at CareSource, where she conducted a year-end performance review and analysis of the plan's various member engagement campaigns, which provide targeted outreach to over 2,000 health plan members. Her findings helped the quality assurance and provider liaison teams refine outreach workflows and address care discontinuities more effectively. Sesen also served as a student researcher at the University of Pittsburgh, where she partnered with a Milwaukee-based community health organization to plan, conduct, and analyze qualitative focus groups on cancer screening practices, the findings from which were used to identify key gaps in care and inform the clinic's early efforts to develop a community-based cancer support program.
