Sean uses his experience in healthcare consulting, analytics, and clinical operations to help healthcare organizations address their administrative and financial challenges. Drawing from his work with hospitals, provider groups, and academic medical centers, he combines data-driven analyses with a practical understanding of healthcare delivery to enhance performance and support strategic decision-making. Sean has worked on revenue cycle assessments, provider productivity analyses, and operational improvement initiatives. He is recognized for his collaborative approach and ability to work effectively with executives, physicians, and cross-functional teams to deliver measurable results.
Before joining ECG, Sean worked for EisnerAmper’s Healthcare Services Group, where he assisted clients with revenue cycle transformations, operational restructuring, and process and performance improvement initiatives. During a revenue cycle engagement for a multispecialty provider group, Sean led the analytics work stream for a denial reduction initiative, developing a claims-level denial model that contributed to a 3% decline in denial rates and approximately $2 million in decreased accounts receivable balances. For another project, a hospital was experiencing delayed cash flow and rising DNFB balances. Sean helped implement intake and EHR-based documentation improvements that reduced DNFB by 65% within several months. He also supported vendor contract negotiations by analyzing pricing, turnaround times, and quality to increase operational accountability.
