Cancer Diagnostic Clinics May Ease Long Waits for Care

Access to care continues to be a challenge for all patients across the country. But for those with a suspicion of cancer, long wait times are more than just a frustrating inconvenience—they’re often a source of great anxiety and emotional strain.

In an effort to better serve these patients, cancer programs are increasingly standing up cancer diagnostic clinics, which focus solely on reducing the time it takes to get a diagnosis and streamlining access to oncology treatment providers.
