The COVID-19 pandemic has placed unprecedented stress on health systems around the world. It has also accelerated adoption of digital technologies. We will see higher investments in digital technologies used for customer engagement, care coordination, remote workforce enablement, and telemedicine. Telemedicine, already undergoing rapid growth, has quickly become a key tool for both preliminary COVID-19 screening and also for nonurgent care and consultations.
