Andrew is an industry leader with an established track record of increasing operational efficiency, maximizing revenue streams, and advancing new solutions. At a time when healthcare organizations must strategically reevaluate their business practices in response to complex evolving market and regulatory pressures, Andrew’s clients value his ability to think critically about all facets of an issue and throughout an engagement. Having held numerous positions at a provider-sponsored health plan, Andrew has worked closely with medical groups, executives, actuaries, and employers to align financial success across the care continuum. Andrew is analytical and passionate about how data and technology are crucial to moving the industry forward, but he also maintains a deep appreciation of the human aspect of healthcare.

Before joining ECG, Andrew worked at Sharp Health Plan, a regional provider-sponsored health plan in San Diego. As the lead underwriter, he managed a team of underwriters and oversaw improvement efforts for both financial and operational initiatives. He implemented a new rating model by evaluating regional benchmarks and provider contracts, which led to a 3% rate reduction for a quarter of his clients. He also designed an onboarding process that decreased new-group installation time by 29%.
