Jake has nearly a decade of experience in the healthcare industry, leading projects for academic medical centers (AMCs), national and regional healthcare systems, and community-based hospitals. He understands the unique challenges that are present at institutions whose missions focus not only on high-quality patient care but also on a commitment to educate future generations of providers. In an ever-changing regulatory and accreditation environment, Jake is focused on guiding his clients through the financial, operational, and accreditation challenges that they face and is dedicated to developing strategies that fit with strategic priorities.
Prior to joining ECG, Jake served as a senior manager at Germane Solutions, where he led a variety of graduate medical education (GME)–related engagements, including feasibility studies, development of new programs, and redefinition of existing program strategies. Under his guidance, hospitals and health systems have moved toward the development of approximately 750 new residency training positions with the potential to secure more than $100 million in annual funding from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
