Michael has over 19 years of healthcare and transaction advisory experience, including M&A transactions and strategic board advisory assignments. He focuses on a wide range of sectors within healthcare services, including specialty physician groups and post-acute services, such as rehabilitation, home health, hospice, and long-term acute care hospitals, as well as alternate site, practice management, managed care, technology, and outsourced services. Michael also leads and coordinates the coverage of healthcare-focused private equity sponsors for ECG, adding to the firm’s growing presence in this vital sector.
Prior to joining ECG, Michael was a member of Houlihan Lokey’s healthcare group for five years as a senior vice president. Notably, Michael advised on The Everett Clinic’s acquisition of DaVita Healthcare Partners, as well as Blue Shield of California’s purchase of Care1st Health Plan. His experience extends across the entire spectrum of buyers, including private equity firms, strategic aggregators, and vertical integrators.
