Nate’s diverse healthcare experience and educational background in project management, clinical information systems, process improvement, interim management, and operations improvement provide him with the skills necessary to deliver customized, best practice solutions to address his clients’ technical and operational challenges and enhance quality, safety, and efficiency. Nate approaches each client engagement with a fresh perspective, first assessing the organization’s cultural, clinical, technical, and financial barriers and then crafting unique solutions to support IT strategies and department redesign.

With over 15 years of experience, Nate has deep knowledge of population health management, telehealth/mobile health, and integrated care delivery models, and he is committed to being a catalyst for change to enhance patient care and safety through IT tools. Nate leads the firm’s EHR Optimization and Implementation service line. In this role, he has overseen dozens of large-scale EHR implementations as well as the optimization of clients’ existing EHR and IT ecosystems, including Epic, Cerner, and MEDITECH. Nate frequently draws on his background in process improvement, portfolio and program management, and Lean Six Sigma to solidify the relationship between technology solutions and positive health outcomes. He has spearheaded cross-functional teams for various performance-improvement projects, the outcomes of which were measured through lives saved and reductions in adverse drug events, wrong-site surgeries, and readmissions.
