Master of Health Administration

Bachelor of Science in Public Health

I’ve always felt passionate about improving the public health. ECG allows me to work with clients who are using alternative payment models to better deliver care, ultimately improving the lives of many.

ECG’s clients appreciate Rachel’s background in value-based reimbursement as they seek to understand both the technical requirements and big-picture implications of payment policy. With her strong data analysis skills, Rachel is able to help clients understand their financial position, while her knowledge of alternative payment programs enables her to contextualize findings and demonstrate how care model transformation can lead to real savings.

At ECG, Rachel focuses on assisting clients with developing and implementing Medicare and commercial bundled payment programs. She helped a 10-hospital health systems reduce total joint cost per case by $1,340, reduced a hospital’s total joint replacement average length of stay by 0.2 days, and established a network of preferred post-acute care providers for a five-hospital health system. Rachel also developed an automated funds flow model to distribute $500,000 in quality-adjusted shared savings to orthopedic surgeons across seven hospitals.
