Working at ECG gives me the opportunity to help solve some of the most pressing issues in healthcare while surrounded by talented, supportive colleagues. I enjoy going home every evening knowing that I’ve helped make a positive impact for clients and the patients they serve.
Rob has worked with some of the nation’s most widely respected hospitals and health systems, giving him a unique view of what is required to achieve strategic and operational excellence in today’s complex healthcare environment. He has extensive experience in ambulatory performance improvement, including patient access strategies, clinical work flow assessment, and process redesign and implementation. Rob’s clients value his experience working to engage clinicians, frontline staff, and leadership to design and deliver implementable solutions across organizations of all sizes.
At ECG, Rob assists clients with operational and strategic change management planning and implementation focused on patient access and ambulatory operations. He planned and facilitated the launch of a referral coordination pilot to increase in-network referral retention for a large integrated health system, resulting in a nearly 10% decrease in out-of-network referrals and increased provider and patient satisfaction. He also developed a rapid performance assessment and operational improvement plan for patient access, clinical work flows, and revenue cycle operations for a community health system in advance of the transition to a new electronic medical record system.
