Ryan calls upon his past experience in strategy, network development, and external partnerships to help provider organizations navigate the operational, clinical, and financial challenges associated with the increasingly interconnected healthcare ecosystem. Using a data-driven approach to problem-solving, Ryan’s clients appreciate his ability to integrate a variety of analytics into well-structured, actionable business plans. Having worked at one of the nation’s top-ranked, not-for-profit academic medical centers, Ryan is passionate about developing best-in-class healthcare delivery models and processes that are also financially pragmatic.

Before joining ECG, Ryan worked as a senior associate in Network Development and Strategic Partnerships at Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH), where he was a critical contributor to the design of BCH’s national growth strategy and led the projections, modeling, and maintenance of the hospital’s national revenue budget, which exceeds $100 million annually. With the goal of fueling BCH’s national growth, Ryan led market benchmarking analyses to identify priority markets and generate allocation recommendations related to a $2 million national marketing budget. In addition, he played an essential role in establishing BCH’s CareConnect, a business-to-business care coordination and decision support platform, and facilitated the onboarding of the program’s first clients, which accounted for more than five million covered lives.
