Before joining ECG, Emily worked at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, serving as the operations manager for the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. In this role, she oversaw the business operations of 19 surgeons, 4 pediatricians, and 19 advanced practice providers across 13 locations. Emily’s strategic efforts to streamline Epic scheduling templates and decision trees contributed to revenue growth, expanded clinical services, and improved patient access for the division. Prior to that, she was the operations manager for the Division of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, where her work focused on addressing staffing and resource issues and improving surgery scheduling processes to drive efficient workflows, increase revenue, and improve patient satisfaction.
