Jason brings over 20 years of experience in the healthcare IT field to his role as ECG’s chief information officer, overseeing the people, strategy, operations, and technology for the firm’s IT and Document Production Center (DPC) departments. Much of Jason's work focuses on project and portfolio management, which includes identifying and executing on projects and initiatives that will add value to the firm and drive employee engagement. Jason has been instrumental to ECG’s success, partnering with the firm’s consultant and corporate operations teams to introduce IT systems, tools, and automation that have vastly improved productivity, quality, and interdepartmental collaboration. He also spearheaded the design and development of DPC’s new document workflow system and brought renewed engagement to the department through improved operational management and career development initiatives.
Jason has worked in multiple capacities within the healthcare vendor, consulting, and provider arenas. He was a software developer team lead for Epic Systems, where he discovered the critical role vendors play in creating technology solutions to solve business problems, and then transitioned to a healthcare IT consulting role at ECG, where he helped clients identify IT challenges and subsequent solutions in areas ranging from EHRs to revenue cycle management. Jason then spent several years working for an academic medical center, managing its large-scale IT project management office and leading several IT groups in support of the organization’s ambulatory and hospital EHRs, web technologies, and IT system integration, before returning to ECG to serve in his current role.
