Patients turn to healthcare providers during some of the most vulnerable times of their lives, so I feel strongly about creating an exceptional care experience for them. I’m eager to help transform the healthcare system into a model that delivers affordable, high-quality care that patients can easily access and navigate. I find it rewarding to work in an industry where we have the privilege of improving people’s quality of life.
Jyoti has dedicated her career to healthcare and is passionate about improving quality of care and affordability while maintaining a patient-centric mindset. Through her experience managing frontline ambulatory operations, she has built relationships with stakeholders and is known for her ability to work well in multidisciplinary teams. Physicians and administrators appreciate that Jyoti takes time to understand the challenges at hand and knows when structure and efficiency are needed in operational workflows.
Before joining ECG, Jyoti worked for Kaiser Permanente as an assistant department administrator of an outpatient OB/GYN department in Los Angeles. She oversaw daily clinical ambulatory operations for a service line that extended to five locations; managed or supported nearly 200 staff and providers; and ensured patient access to an average of 10,000 appointments per month. When faced with access challenges, Jyoti assisted with innovative solutions such as implementation of virtual phone appointments with physicians and lactation consultant video visits. Additionally, she created a self-referral system for the infertility subspecialty to decrease wait times and simplify the appointment booking process for patients. Jyoti also successfully increased patient satisfaction scores and efficiency in the clinic through quality, affordability, and staff development initiatives. Prior to that position, she implemented various strategic and operational projects for Kaiser’s Southern California Region as an administrative fellow.
