Michael has over 10 years of experience helping clients tackle complex problems by providing meaningful, robust analyses to inform their decisions. He draws on his quantitative skills and diverse background to assess and contribute to solutions for a wide variety of challenges for healthcare organizations. Across projects, Michael guides clients through data-driven decision-making to address their pressing strategic questions.
At ECG, Michael has assisted various clients with strategic master planning, enterprise and service line strategic planning, demand modeling, market studies, and capacity analyses. His clients include AMCs, children’s hospitals, regional health systems, and community hospitals. An example of Michael’s work includes crafting an inpatient pediatric network strategy for a large health system to create community spokes for its children's hospital. He also evaluated campus relocation and expansion options for the hospital to inform strategy and capital requests in two key adjacent markets. For another project, Michael assessed the clinical capacity of facilities throughout a leading children's health system to develop a strategic master facility plan.
