Through Jason’s more than 20 years of experience providing strategic and operational leadership to cultivate and implement critical plans, establish and maintain effective relationships with administrative leaders and medical staff, facilitate revenue growth and cost containment, and improve diagnostic services, he has developed a deep understanding of the issues healthcare providers and systems face. Clients and colleagues appreciate Jason’s collaborative management style and improvement initiatives to revise workflows, augment scheduling performance, engage and develop staff, reduce result turnaround times, and enhance customer experiences.
Prior to joining ECG, Jason held various leadership roles in laboratory, radiology, and ambulatory operations. Most recently, he was the vice president of diagnostic services at Baystate Health managing an operating budget of over $110 million, more than $500 million in gross revenue, and over 800 FTEs. At Baystate, Jason’s radiology achievements included an over $5 million direct margin improvement, an 18%, $3.4 million decrease in cost per unit of service, and a 10% improvement in productivity as measured by hours paid per unit of service. He also led the development of a multiyear, system-wide imaging capital plan, including a needs assessment with staff, radiologists, vendors, and senior executives, along with radiation safety, clinical engineering, purchasing, and facilities resulting in significant financial savings, improved engagement, standardized care across the system, and stronger vendor alignment and collaboration.
