Afi is a healthcare operations and strategy professional with experience supporting large, complex health systems as they work to improve performance and advance organizational priorities. She brings a balanced perspective shaped by roles in hospital operations, enterprise strategy, and community health, allowing her to understand both system‑level goals and frontline operational realities. Afi is skilled at navigating cross‑functional environments, translating organizational needs into actionable plans, and supporting leaders as they make decisions to strengthen strategic alignment and operational efficiency.

Afi's expertise spans hospital operations, performance improvement, and enterprise strategy. Before ECG, she was the interim director of operations at Cone Health, where she supported operational leadership at the system's 628‑bed flagship hospital. In this role, Afi oversaw initiatives aimed at aligning system priorities with frontline execution and strengthening coordination across clinical, ancillary, and support services to reduce workflow inefficiencies and improve patient flow. Her work also included conducting space utilization assessments to inform short‑ and long‑term planning for plant management, care redesign, and growth. Prior to her operational role, Afi worked as an administrative fellow, building her strategic planning experience through her involvement in evaluating large‑scale ambulatory expansion opportunities and directing a Community and Social Health integration work stream in partnership with Kaiser Permanente.
