In this role, Afi oversaw initiatives aimed at aligning system priorities with frontline execution and strengthening coordination across clinical, ancillary, and support services to reduce workflow inefficiencies and improve patient flow. Her work also included conducting space utilization assessments to inform short‑ and long‑term planning for plant management, care redesign, and growth. Prior to her operational role, Afi worked as an administrative fellow, building her strategic planning experience through her involvement in evaluating large‑scale ambulatory expansion opportunities and directing a Community and Social Health integration work stream in partnership with Kaiser Permanente.
